I Am Desperate! - pcv valve help?

Hey everyone,

I posted a thread a little while ago about a PCV valve, for some reason no auto repair manuals explain how to get my PCV valve off, they just say once it is out, do this. I AM FRUSTRATED. My 4afe does not just pull out and i am stuck. If anyone can help in any way, that would be great. Thanks everyone.

Not that familiar with Celica Engines......but if it's anything like the Sera then the pcv valve just pulls out of a grommet. The problem is usually that the rubber grommet has perished and become hardened - so the valve is jammed into the hard rubber. It pulls out ( eventually - with excessive force ) and usually disintegrates when it's forced. New ones are cheap enough though.

No idea if this helps though.......It may be the same on the Celi though, so it's worth a mention.
