Greetings!

My first day having been approved as a new member :)

I got my first Aygo this past Monday; a 3dr Sport, registered in Sept 05, with 23000 on the ODO (kept reading at as OOO on the gauge and wondered what on earth it meant...ooops!!). She's finished in Carbon Onyx and looks fabulous; I love that colour! She has A/C fitted too, which will be a blessing in the spring/summer if it effectively helps minimise thepollen coming into the car (blasted hay-fever!).

I am very pleased at how responsive the car feels, and the grip seems excellent, even at speed on twisty country roads; loadsa fun! The engine has really surprised me with how lively and peppy it is too; quick accelleration is not a problem, and yet it never seems loud or 'straining' at 70-ish.....just that lovely throaty growl :)

Internally I'm constantly amazed at how roomy and airy it feels; I'm 6'1" and have plenty of head and leg room - maybe there's some Tardis technology at work there.... ;)

I love the 'funky' styling of the dash and centre column, which looks brilliant at night, and really like how intuitive it is to use - none of that flicking through the book to find out what that wierd icon on a switch means! (Oh, except to try and find what that OOO on the milometer meant..... *blush* !)

Anyway, that's enough of my introductions; you probably all know about everything I've written above anyhow if you own an Aygo

welcome to the board.

Glad your enjoying your new Aygo, did make me larf when you said about the weird icons as the other week I almosted crashed trying to drive and read the manual to find out what this strange light was that has come on the engine management thinking my car was about to die, only to eventually discover I had turned the rear fog light on..lol.I felt so stupid..

Happy Driving

Thanks everyone :)

Had my Aygo a week now and still in love with her!! She's just brilliant! If I could just get the front passenger seat to stop it's irritating rattling ...

Are you sure that it is not the front seat passenger seat belt that is rattling? (Assuming the rattle is when no passenger carried).

Check that the seat belt is fully retracted as the buckle can rattle against the door pillar.

The seat belt buckle can also sway when moving and knock against the side airbag in the passenger seat if you happen to have left the seat in just the wrong position for it to connect

Thanks for the suggestions...but, it's not the seatbelt! If I place my hand on the seat and apply a little pressure, the rattle stops! I can feel the seat vibrating and there's 'somethin' underneath that just starts going off...I'm going to have a good poke around later!

Get some pics up then and lets see your pride and joy

Hi and welcome.gif

Enjoy your new car.

My Yaris developed a squeaky driver's seat shortly after buying it. I took it in under warranty and they replaced the seat frame. Now it's silent

my seats sqeeked, on simple solution change them under the warrenty, thats what i had to do with both front seats.

Solved the seat rattle... I just moved it forward a couple of notches! It seems that it rattles against the frame when it's pushed all the way back if no one sits in it!
