Hi just a quick qeustion i have a ST182R whats does the R stand for?

I'm pretty sure the 4ws models are designated ST183. Do you mean you have a GT-R, as opposed to a GT? What engine do you have?

The R is on the vin plate after the st 182 i wonderd if was just a manufactures designation to do with parts?as i noticed they use different letters in the toyota parts list in the "parts 4 Toyota" section. Did they use the R to differentiate between years of the same gen?
