Help.......crashed My Celica Vvti

[fiz-vvti]

hi peeps, i need some help, i've crashed my celica vvti, it needs a front bumper, radiator, o.s.f head lamp and o.s.f fog light.

i've tried getting the parts but they are too expensive. do u guys and girls know of any place where they do cheap parts.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

or one of those parts searching websites that check all you local scrap yards.

fiz-vvti is your celica a pre or facelift model i.e. old shape front or the newer letter box style what year ?.

its the letter box front style i think, its a w reg 2000.

also will the black projector lights fit on it, on eBay it says they are for the 04 and 05 plates. but they r the same model. confused yet again.

i've had a few qoutes now,

head light £70

bumper £120

fog lights £45 each

radiator £90

are these a good price for second hand parts

also the black projector lights cost around £130

they're not amazing prices, but i think they are ok. does the bumper have the polystyrene insert with it?

i'm not 2 happy with the price, thought i could get them cheaper. the bumper does have the foamy stuff in it.

i'm not gettin the car on the road for a few weeks so might as well carry on lookin 4 cheaper parts.

if you're in no hurry then shop about. Its £325 for the parts you need (only one fog light?) and if you're doing the work yourself, it doesn't seem a huge amount of money for a front end repair.

when i last needed a wing for my celica, most places wanted £150 for a scratched one that needed a respray. i finally found a mint one for £50, from some old bloke selling jap spares from his shed in rotherham. I made a long list of all the jap breakers within 50 miles and called them all. i had time for that. if you do too, i would suggest you do something similar!

hmmm. nah the car needs to be slightly jigged out from the front, the wing and bonnet need to be straigthened out, then the spray job.

damn i miss that car, wish i had her back on the road and just cruise.
