Does the Aygo cd player refuse to play copies? All my music is downloaded, and when I tried to put several different cds in my car yesterday it always flashed up ERROR 1 - which according to the little book is 'disc is scratched, blank or something else'...none of which apply.

Has anyone else has this problem, or do I need to make a trip to Mr. T?

Are you finalising the discs?

Yeah, they worked fine in my old car cd player, but just not in this one

Mine is fine for playing all kinds of CDs. Have you tried a pre-recorded CD - just to see if it works?

(Now I use a wireless MP3 FM Modulator (plays tracks from a USB stick)).

Try another brand of CD-R.

Some discs have too much or not enough

reflective capacity, which can cause read errors.

And you could also try burning on another drive.

Are the tracks MP3's? If so they wont work!

If the the tracks are MP3s you will have to convert the format to CD Audio Files as you burn them

are you doing them as MP3 cd's cos the cd player only plays the normal format and not mp3 cd's

Actually, burning a CD as data (containing mp3's), will not get you a ERROR 1 on the display. It will play 80 minutes of silence.

Anywayz, I use several brands of CD-RW's, never a problem. And you can keep deleting and rewriting your playlist.
