E12 4 Point Harness Fitting

hi all,

ive got an e12 corolla, i find that the current seat belts dont hold me in too well around corners, im thinking of buyin some new 4 point harnesses, probably sparcos, how could i fit them to my car? will i need to get them professionally fitted because the eyebolt plates will need welding into my floorplate wont they? any1 got any ideas? cheers!

you can use the existing mounting points but you will lose the rear seats for passengers as the shoulderr straps will need to bolt in where therear buckles mount

oh right yeah that makes sense, i thought the eye bolts were different to the standard bolts that are used for the seat belts.

im going to be keepin my standard seat belts but how shall i stop the light and beep comin off the drivers seat when the seat belt is not engaged?

ther is a way to disable the beep on the rolla and avensis, you could try it and see if it works on the yaris, or get a spare buckle from the breakers and put that in the seatbelt clip when using the harness
