I am about to invest in a Hilux (2nd hand) for my work (civil engineering materials control & site auditing). I would like to ensure that it could exceed the requirements of the major contractors I will working for. To this end, I want to serious invest in upgrading the pickup, adding full roll cage for a 4 door crew cab. payload cargo bed liner (under rail), decent water tight tool chest and "jack-up" the suspension clearance for cross country use. Naturally, I would be going through a decent weeks cross country driver training to get used to the higher C of G conditions, compared to normal car driving & learn the "tricks of th trade" about c/country abilities.

Any takers for pointing me in the correct direction of reliable suppliers, installing workshops. Also insurance companies that would be able to offer me commercial vehicle cover, after the upgrade investment work is completed?
