Dump Valve Fitting

hi all,

i need some help.

i am after buying a HKS SSQV dump valve but only bought the unit, i dont have a fitting kit for it, (Am i after doing a stupid thing by just getting the dump valve?)

do i need a fitting kit (if so where can i get one?) or is it easy enough to make up one.

im not sure where is the best place to put the dump valve.

any information would be appreciated...

if u buy a fitting kit for your model u should get instructions for fittin it yourself :)

assuming you have an ST-205. look on the front of the charge cooler and you will see two pipes one large one connected to the turbo and a smaller one that goes to the stock BOV on the airbox. now you have a choice, either disconect the stock BOC and connect the new BOV to that end of the pipe or remove the pipe and connect to the CC using a short length of pipe.

the small vaccume pipe connects to the same place as the small pipe fom the stock BOV.

leave the stock BOV in place or get a blanking plate made for the airbox :thumbsup:

cheers lads, the only fitting kit i could get my hands on was a HKS universal fitting kit, it needed a small bit of jiggin and playing with to get it fitting perfectly, i placed it in where the stock BOC was situated and put a blank on the back of the airbox.

its in a couple of weeks and im loving the sound off it.
