i find the ride in my vitz hard sometimes any ideas how can soften it and poss cost

you want to try driving with coilovers.

I take it you have standard suspension, then I doubt there is anything you can do.

Having bigger profile tyres can get rid of the hardness when going over bumps, or bumpy roads.
