Air Bag Light

Well my air bag light started staying on took it to mr T and he has diagnosed the problem, I need a new seat base somehting to do with the sensors, maybe im just to fat and broke it seat has been ordered and will be getting done it 2 weeks is this a common fault or is it just me and my luck
