 Just been quoted nearly £100 for replacing the front pads by my local dealer, so think I will have a go myself.

:help: Is it an easy job?

How much should I pay for the pads?

Seen some Mintex on eBay for £31 delivered

Does anybody have any other recommended pads?

 Cheers in advance guys, Andy

very easy.

remove the wheel, remove the m8 bolt (12mm spanner) from the bottom of the calliper, swing up.

remove pads, wire brush the calliper where the pads fit reinstall using a LITTLE coper greaseon the back of the pad and the lugs that locate in the calliper, dont get any on the pad face or disc.

push the piston back into the calliper swing back down and refit the bolt making sure its tight. repaeat for the other side.

press the brake pedal a few times and make sure the pedal goes firm.

take it for a test drive and avoid hard braking for the first 100 miles or so.

mintex pads are pretty good but to be fair ask at your local motor factors
