My Celica 2.0 (1990) has just developed a rather nasty leak in the fuel tank. Toyota have quoted £254 + VAT. Does anyone know of a cheaper option other than a brakers?

Petrol tanks can be repaired but it's a specialist job. If it's too far gone though then you may have to bite the bullet and get a new one.

You could try a good local motor factors - there may be a pattern part available for these.
