Right, i got through the post a postcard from Mr T about parts to be fitted but i havent rang or ordered any parts etc. i just think its a bit strange getting stuff like this through post. I just want to know if anyone else has recieved a postcard? If they're wanting to me to make an appointment, do you think i will have to pay because ive not requested anything from them.

oh and they called me 'MRS' not MISS :( i'm not an old chinese woman lol i'm just 20 lol ;)

Hi. They can't make you pay for anything that you haven't ordered. Phone them up (is this your usual dealer?) and I'm sure it can be cleared up in seconds.

rang them up today and its something to do with my sensors? but im sure i had something like that done before in my previous thread when i got the free champers?? they said i dont pay anything because my car has still got warranty? first thing i knew...didnt think my car came with warranty....oh well i just thought it was a bit strange thats all

also i want to know....instead of writing in a new thread, which is quicker...a 1.4 corsa or a yaris tsport???

Oh God, you must get to know about your warranties!

Yes, that's right, there are two of them. There's a 12 year anti-perforation warranty that guarantees your car if any part of the body rusts. The more important one is the 3 year general warranty that guarantees you free repair or replacement of things that go wrong.

So far, my 2005 Yaris has had new hatch fittings and gas struts, a new dashboard, driver's seat frame and the bit that fits around the ignition key barrel.

All free parts and labour.

It would probably have been cheaper for them to just have given me the car! ;)

I think a T Sport is faster than a Corsa and you retain your street cred too.

Loot at parkers.co.uk for 0-60 times. Select the make & model in the drop down list and then click on technical data on the right. Jusk had a look and the 1.4 Corsas is around 10 -11 seconds!!

Mind you 0-60 isnt everything. It's the 40 - 70 range that counts. IMO :) And the yaris in supposted to be the best between gears in it's class (apparently)
