Possible To Dissassemble The Rear Lights?

Is it possible to disassemble (remove the "lens") the rear lights? I know that the headlights lens can be removed by heating the headlight in a owen (i've done it myself) but I'm not so sure about the rearlights.

The reason why I'm asking is that I'm thinking of converting them to LED instead. Like these:

you can buy the led lights, or even some led bulbs.

If they don't clip apart they will come apart the same way as the headlights, by heating them.
