Avensis Engine Probs

Hi have a 1.8 VVTI Y reg 2001 Avensis and recently have rebuilt and replaced the engine, finally once everything was more or less finished started the car within 2 mins the engine cuts out.

Thought it may be the injectors replaced those with a spare set I had. made no difference

Would be grateful for any suggestions and will further try to resolve tomorrow?

is there an error code available?

I don't have the expertise to help really, but have heard of ECU problems on donor engines. This shouldn't be your problem as you didn't change the affected bits.

compression test? Immobiliser?
