You can see in the last pic where the dealer took extra care in making sure the car was clean. Along with other problems, overall marks for the dealer...3/10.

It is great to see you have got yourself an aygo, but from those pictures and the condition in which this dealer has given you the car, they have not made an effort to impress, i think you should go back to them and raise this and get your moneys worth which is a top class car which you have but they should present you with a spik and span car.

The fact I park next to a tree that blows out dust all year round is not the problem. There was wax left near the 3rd brake light, petrol cap and edges of the front bonnet was a major disappointment. 'The little man' will be cleaned next week by me so I'll know it will get done properly. They replied with an offer of a full valet but I probably not bother :(

I'm not going to let a dirty car and poor dealer sevice deny the fact, this car is superb and beats any other small car I've driven before. Even the children love it :D

It is a car that is loved by all age groups its brilliant. I would have to agree that there is nothing more satisfying that cleaning your own car because then u know at least its been done properly. My car was a birthday precent, and with a woman like my mum the dealer would not of dared to hand me over a car with a spec of dust on it, was rather amusing.

Hope you enjoy 'the little man' and happy posting.

Funny, didn't know the pattern for the M-MT/SensoDrive/2Tronic WAS

swapped left to right on a RHD car while the pattern for the manual isn't:

I guess it's so that the manual shift is closer to the driver?

Where are the wheel trims ?

Posted

Same colour as mine although my one is just the bog standard manual Aygo+ none of these fancy gearboxes :D

I do love the colour, hopefully my dealer will clean it better.

That's iff Egg pull their finger out and sort my damn loan :ffs:

how come you dont have any wheel trims?

Ah, I took them off as I didn't like 'em. For Sale if anybody wants them.

Personally I think the trims look OK on the Aygo...........or are you thinking about getting alloy wheels at some time?

It would be better for you to keep the trims for when you sell your car on.......................and you can't advertise them on here as you are a non paying member.

Err....thanks.

Like the wheels!

Not those heavy weight alloys, but the light steel one!

Nice looking car but the wheels spoil it.

Trims back on or a nice set of alloys

Na, there are staying off for the time being. :naughty:

The Toyota dealer I got mine from wouldn't even let me drive it away until he has polished some finger marks off the bonnet, and insisted I brought it back to have a new number plate fitted which had a scuff on it!

I am surprised you don't like the trims, Gonzales, I think they look very nice, certainly better than those given on the 107 and C1.

Looks rubbish without the trims mate

TO Jan van de Wouw: What is that leather covered item in the second picture posted there?

Posted

It's not my car, but I DO know whhat it is;

it's a home made bezel for a TomTom SatNav

Posted

Very nice. I think I may have seen the sat nav on the 107 blog. Don't know if I would have had it down there though. I like to check the map while I am driving rather than going on the spoken instructions fully.

Could be; it's in the same cr that has the red/black leather interior.

The owner is a car upholsterer by profession and also works for

companies like Spyker, so he knows his trade :P
