Maf?

Trawling through the oxygen sensor sagas, there appear to be conflicting views on weather the 2.0L vvti Avensis engine (2001) has a MAF or not. Having just received an engine warning light & traced it to one of the oxygen sensors (open circuit heater) but thought it would be worth cleaning the MAF at the same time.

I've had this confirmed by two different Toyota dealers. The 2001 2.0 vvti (1AZ-FSE) engine does NOT have a MAF. Before checking with Toyota I dismantled the air filter housing etc looking for the MAF and it wasn't there.

Thanks Mike,

I was about to delve into the air filter area.
