Beam Adjuster Switch

I'm not having much luck sourcing a template to block out dipped beams when abroad. So I thought I'd try another tack. Having looked at the headlights I'm thinking that the factory use the same ones for LHD and RHD. If so, there must be some mechanical or electrical mechanism to switch between LHD and RHD.

Does anyone know about this .... or does anyone have a template for blocking the beam?

I'm not often in the neighbourhood of the dealer but I may pop in and ask.

I've tried some experimenting with blocking the light and seeing the result on the garage door. I think a token bit of black plastic and setting the beam as low as possible should satisfy the gendarmes.
