Cost Of A New Rear Bumper

Anyone know roughly how much a new rear bumper is going ot cost? Some eejit has scratched mine all along it with a brick or something - and I'm guessing Mr. T will prob just swap it for another one rather than re-spray. Haven't got protected no claims so dbating whether to just fork out for it myself.

It should be about £87 as per the RRP

It's very easy to install, but you will have to ask if the bumper comes already painted to your car colour.

I would ask a local auto spray shop for a quote first though

Having looked at it in the light, it's not the rear bumper that's really affected, it's the rear panel below the back window, just over the wheel arch. Took it to garage this morning as was quoted £1700 for new panel plus work. Want to cry!!!

Does anyone know if getting a respray and a bit of panel beating done at dodgy local garage rather than Mr T approved one will invalidate my warranty?

If that corner begins to rust, they may easily get out of fulfilling the anticorrosion, rear brakes or suspension warranty. Warranty for unrelated parts should still stand.

Personally, knowing that the Shell is galvanised would make me want to repair it without involving Mr T.
