TBH I can be 110% Envy won't have sold you something that isnt any good, theres no end of people on this site and others that rave about them.

Must admit though its nice to see that someone has gone for some other springs rather than Tein, so once you get them fitted you can let us all know what they are like.

yeh ill let you know! - they get delivered on tuesday, so ill be fitting them in either next week or the week after.. ill be sure to post before and after pics up for you all.

PS: i called again and i made sure.. he said the yaris springs are made 40mm FRONT. 20mm REAR.

i asked if this would look stupid, and he said not at all. the springs are made like that because the yaris usually has a higher rear than it does front, so its made like that to balance the car, and give it a more aggressive look.

i trust his word, and heck ill do it and see.. who knows till you try it on.

Thanks Anyway

Mossy.

15's are the way to go! 195/50/15 is the best mix of grip, handling, ride and responsiveness. Add to that price and it's a clear winner.

I've got Tein's and 15's on my car... sorry for the crap pic but It came off my phone, but you get the idea!

btw nice ride, ive seen you about i think?

Probably! Im all over the place!

Even though we've said 15's, that's OUR opinion! If you want to put 16s on then go ahead, it is your car after all! The major differences are cost (16s are more for wheels and tyres!) fitment issues (some 16's can scrub the arches on lowered cars) slower (by default, bigger wheels on a car designed for smaller wheels will lose some acceleration) higher un-sprung weight (bigger wheels are usually heavier! so there's more wheel travel and a more 'chopy' ride) Looks (15's look ready to rally, 16's look ready to cruise)

Like I said, end of the day, it's your car!

Personally they're not to my taste, but everybody has differing tastes!

No idea if they'll fit as fitment details aren't provided. You need to make sure they have the following:

4 Stud fitment

PCD of 4x100

Correct offset (think it's 32-35 but im not 100%!)

The offset is 38-45 mate.

Although that said im running a 35 offset on my 15s cos they stopped making them in 38. Its grand, it just means they sit 3mm further out from the arch.

Yeah mine are sweet like. im glad i went for that offset they sit really nice. If you look up a wheel fitment guide itll say 38-45 but really 35 is fine. dunno what it would be like with big wheels though

Let's remember people, it's not only wheel size that matters, also width, offset and tyres. I'm planning 15/7.5 Work Equips with some lip, on a Daihatsu, with either 195/45-15, 195/40-15 or 165/45-15, making the 15" wheels not look like the supermarket/Toyota wheels, but much bigger.

Let me illustrate it, with 14", not 15". These are 14":

And these are 14":

Which means, 15" and a small tyre profile or some stretch, will do magic to a Yaris.

I doubt you would move if every wheel weighed 505kg. That's half a ton, so over all you'd be pulling 2 ton of wheels and nearly a ton of car.

Errr... hello...

Yeah, there are pics in the "Arty Farty Yaris Pics" thread at the top of the page. tbh I can't even remember if they are RS-Rs. They're in place of the adjustable Envy rears and Kev did tell me what they were at the time but I was very tired and wasn't really taking it in (sorry Kev). I'll check tomorrow, but in the meantime...

PS I'm now being told "they say f**in' RS-R on them" so that would seem pretty categorical... :!Removed!:

Sorry im missing something here, what says "f**in' RS-R on them"?

if those are RS-Rs im luvin it!.

cheers

hes me thinking you were on TTE alan lol

Matt, you're (exactly) a month behind the times mate ;)

Fronts aren't RS-R, fronts are envy adjustable coileys so don't take them as a height guide. Reasrs say "f***in' RS-R" on them according to Ryan. They'rere just where I would have them set were they adjustable so I think they're perfect. Ultra stiff too.

Wheels are 16"...
