Finally Fitted Some Bits

Well I've been waiting for a body shop locally to me to paint a few parts I dropped off about 3 weeks ago now. To say they dragged their heels would be an understatement  But I finally got them back on Thursday and fitted them this weekend. I also got a remus rear silencer off eBay 2 weeks ago and took the opportunity to fit that as well. That was a bit of a job because the screws holding it in place were totally rusted and I headbutted the underside of my car as well :toast:

The front lip was something like £80 from a polish bloke on eBay (he has a shop and sells them all the time). It is a remould of the official TTE one and when it arrives, it's in really bad condition (cracked and rough etc) so it'll need filling and sanding a fair bit when you take it to a body shop for painting.

It also isn't drilled, so you'll have to work out where the holes need to go on the tabs and drill them yourself in order to fit it.

Alternatively you could just buy one off Chris.S for £180 and then all it needs is spraying.

Just to put it into some context, to sand and fill it plus painting both the lip and the grille, it cost me £205

I got it from eBay for £120. It was 2nd hand but had only done about 2000 miles. Is it worth the money? Most definitely. The sound is great. IMO it's no louder than the standard one but it is a LOT deeper. I absolutely love the sound it makes.

HEY!! Stop giving me ideas. I'm going to be replacing the front discs and all the pads when i can be bothered and I thought I might get a break after that - obviously not now ;)
