My wifes Yaris, a 1.3 SR "misses" just the once when accelerating quickly.If accelerating gently there is no problems. The plugs have been replaced, the throttle housing cleaned and our local mechanic has put it through his computer and couldn't find anything wrong. The car runs perfectly well otherwise. It is most noticeable when going down hill and if you take your foot off the throttle and then try and accelerate fairly quickly there is a momentary miss before it picks up and carries on accelerating ok. Before I pass this to Toyota to check does anyone have any ideas ???

mine does that i have a big flat spot because of an exhaust issue

but ive noticed sometimes when i put my toe down there is a pause

then it kicks in

how do u clean the air flow meter
