Hi all sorry havn"t posted for a while but thought i would let you know my thoughts on new flagship yaris, my dealer phoned me up to say they had one in and if i would like to try for long weekend so why not :D

The car looks great in the graphite grey colour and sits on the road perfectly subtle light changes plus small tailgate spoiler all add to the sporty stance of the sr,it seems o drive so much more refined than my other halfs t-spirit 1.3 wether its the lowered suspension or the 17"wheels on 45 low profile tyres, my wifes car has 17" wheels but 40 low profile and the difference is noticeable although turning circle on sr is less than standard yaris as two goes were needed to park on my tight driveway.

The engine is great versatile and quiet, it will pull around everywhere in fifth no problem and really kicks into life over 3500rpm its not a hot hatch but gives you enough power to make you realise its not just a normal run of the mill hatchback,a better exhaust bark would be nice but im sure envy performance will have a add on soon enough, dials are orange in colour which look ok but some sexy blue ones would be better plus binnacle could do with being turned slightly toward driver i feel,i averaged just over45mpg on a 30 mile run which is better than the same journey in 1.3 t-spirit by nearly 5miles!

so personally i think great car, great looks, great drive but to dear £13500 for 5dooor plus metallic then £165 road tax is a bit steep however if my dealer wants to give me first refusal on demonstrater i might be tempted . cheers cooperman
