Supra Mk11

I’ve been busy working on the car, uncovering a reasonably small number of issues to be dealt with.

The offside drop link on the Anti Roll bar has broken, causing a clonking sound occasionally. Has anyone used the Whiteline uprated ARB's from Fensport, do they come with drop links?

Whilst the suspension is apart, how much of a pain is it to polybush the front suspension?

The offside door handle mounting is broken on one side and the central locking servo has been disconnected / is broken. Any idea where I can source another one from?

At some point the rear OEM Speakers have been removed and some holes have been hacked into the removable panels in the side of the boot compartment for some after market Speakers.

What are the chances of getting either the original rear Speakers or something similar to fit the original speaker housings?

Cheers for any and all help offered.

Ben :D

I have the Whiteline ARB's on mine and no they dont come with droplinks on the front although the rears do - very strange.

I bought new front links from toyota.

The suspension on there is a nightmare if you havent seen it before (i've removed and refitted them over 10 times now and i still find it a pain in the back side).

BTW you dont have to disassemble the suspension to fit the ARB's. Just undo the camber arms and drop the bar down with the two brackets that attach below the front crossmember.

If you go for the whiteline arb's you'll have to make the holes bigger at the front to fit it as the whitelines are bigger than toyota ones.

Also Demontweeks do the arb's cheaper than fensport - speak to dave featherstone and tell him your on TOC.

Not sure about the handle but i have the same issue with the central locking. I've changed the servo and i still have the problem so im making my way through fuses looking for the fault there.

As far as trim goes....give toyota a try but dont hold your breath. When it comes to MK2 supras the chances of them still having the part your after available is about 50/50.

Did you know toyota dont actually do shock absorbers for these cars anymore!

Luckly i have a spare set for if/when i need them.

Anyway best of luck :)

To be honest i didnt really notice a difference with the ARB's alone. Its hard to tell as i have had the car off the road for a good three months and done lots of things in that time. So its hard to tell what thing is the reason for the difference in the cars handling, also im out of touch with how the car drove before as its been so long.

I would deffo recommend the Whitelines though. If anything they are lighter than the Factory Toyota ones which saves you a bit of weight off the car.
