Drivers Window

:help: Am new to the toyota world, always had honda's and moving from the type r to the t sport its quite similar. Although i have came across a problem that am scratching my head over and am not sure weather the car is meant to do this or its just taking the :censor: out of me. When i pull the drivers side window up and on auto it gets to the top then jumps down as if you have your hand trapped in the window and its hit the sensor. This is at the very top just before sealing the window. This window has just been fixed as it was slipping off its runners but it was doing this before. Feed me your knowledge fellow t sport drivers!!!

hi,

i had a problem with my drivers window when i had my cts.

if i drove with the window down a little it would fall forward on the runners, mr T replaced the motor and the runners and it was fine for a month.... then it did it again... they said that it was happening due to the fact i had lowered the suspension 35mm and the ride was bumpier....

i sold the car with the fault in the end....

Thanks for the reply, but this isn't the problem. The problem is that when the window goes up in auto the window will reach the top limit then start coming down to just below midway. I have a feeling it could be a sensor to stop you from jamming your fingers in the window, weather it be on the motor or somewhere on the door. Just to see if anyone elses does this????

Maybe a long shot but is there anything in the window seal/runner! Try running something along the inside of the runner to feel for any bumps.
