2002 Camry paint problem

Is anyone else having problems with the paint on their 2002 Camry? I traded up from a 1989 Dark Blue Camry LE to a 2002 Black Camry LEV6. If bird droppings are left on the car for as little as 24 hours it eats the paint all the way down to what looks like white primer. Also, small stones chip the paint away. My 89 Camry never had any of these problems. I am very discouraged and disappointed with Toyota.

If the car is a 2002 she'll still be under warranty, I would march straight back to Toyota as you shouldn't be getting this problem, the dealer should be able to sort this out for ya :)

most paintwork with suffer from bird droppings... their was a case where a food company "millers" in my hometown got sued by a company for the seagulls messing up company cars paintwork. It was where the birds were eating the waste from the factory and basically the cars that parked all day next door to the factory where covered and messed up the painwork.

Deffo a warranty job!
