Help Power Fluctutations At 4000 - 5000 Rpm

Can anyone please help got a preface lift 04 and has just come out of warranty. Over the last couple of days i have noticed that once the engine in warm (use the lift) when i hit 4000 rpm in any gear and up to 5000 i get a power fluctuation (it seems to be holding back and spluttering ! :crybaby: ). Before 4000 and after 5000 i have no problems with the full power and accerleration of the engine. Was wondering whether it is something to do with the oxygen sensor ?? :blink:

Anyone help :ffs: :help:
