Celica Tailgate Struts?

hi i need celica tailgate struts i was wondering if the 1s off a standard celica would fit mine as the gt4 ones do not, i also have a spoiler, will they still work, thanks

& it is an import will the uk celica struts fit it? if anybody knows? thanks

Gas struts crop up in topics quite a bit. First off we'd need to know what Gen your Celica is. I do know that some of the Sport models ( gen 7 at least ) have stronger struts than standard to cope with the weight of the spoiler.

There's a place in Derby that supplies/regasses struts on a same day turnaround, so if you get no better clues here and you're not prepared to pay Toyota Genuine prices then it's worth getting in touch with them.

its a gen 6 2litre gt. i havent actually got any struts as my car didnt come with ene!! thanks tho
