What Is Wrong With This Celica?

Hello,

I want to buy cheap Toyota. Yesterday found strange Celica selling offer. Can anybody please identify this Celica. Is it even Celica? The car is shown on following pictures:

How much Curren differs from Celica? Can it have Celica engines? What about the suspension, are the parts same?

doesnt the curren have a different front end ?

I thought that was a gen6 but an american one...........i dont know much about them thou :D

no this curren is quite rare in the UK. I've only seen 1 a year ago and I fallowed it trying to figure out what it was. Might have scared the guy giving him the eye ball for 2 miles. hahaha

Anyway I don't know much about the spec but I would say don't bother becasue parts for that car is near impossible in the UK.

Looks like someone bought a Curren and fitted a Celica front end to it. Essentially they are pretty much the same car, using the same two n/a engines that Celica uses. This is what it SHOULD look likepost-18423-1177715925_thumb.jpg

No that is indeed a celica.

In Japan they sold the Curren which is a booted celica with a corrola levin style nose.

In certain export countrys (parts of america included i think) they sold the celica with a boot just like this. Its a very rare car indeed but it is a celica and evidence of its existance can be found on the EPC.

Both the Curren and the booted Celica have either the 3SGE, 3SFE or the 4SFE. But the booted Celica also had the 5SFE in the lineup :thumbsup:
