1994 St205 Gt4 Subframe Bolt Movement?

Hiya Guys,

i finally got the the gt4 im looking to buy on a ramp and found the front passenger wheel had a little play in it.... ive been told the arm going to the sub frame from the tyre seems to be a little loose, which occurs when the the tyre is moved back and forth, the guy who looked at it said it may be a loose bolt......anyone got any thoughts

apologies in advanced for the fault/problem description ...not to sure how to explain the problem

yep fairly common problem to be fair. you can get the arm from TCb (toyota celica breakers). he sells brand new genuine toyota ones but they are about £250each IIRC and the smaller FIG 8 (links the arm to the strut is about £90.

wear in either can cause the wheel movement you described.

ian at TR&D is prolly the closet place to fit it and i think itll be around £40 for one side.
