Red Paint

Ive found a nice looking t sport but its in red and im just wondering if anyone has experienced problems with fading of paint if the car is left in the sunshine.

i know it used to happen on older vehicles, are new cars resistant to it or what?

yes red does still fade if not waxed every so often,

although red is better than it used to be, but it still needs looking after.

Tbh though it standard with any red car and i dont know of any yaris' on here that dont look better than when they came out of the factory just because of some occasional TLC! Red Rules :)

Can't say I've really put any special effort into looking after mine and the red hasn't faded. It's a 99 Yaris as well. Certainly not as bad as a "pink"Corsa a friend of mine had

Red corsas are bad for fading, my mate has a 04 plate one and his has faded quite a bit..........

I have a red Carina from '92, and it was washed a few times by some "intelligent" guys, and now the hood, and the front wings and a little from the doors becamed almost white. But, the boot still looks like new painted. So, it will fade olny if you'll won't take care of the car (like any other)

P.S.: I've made once a full polish, and the car looked like a new one, shiny and perfect red. After a few weeks, when the polish had gone, the car is back white (only when is clean, when is wet is red :D )

I debadged mine the other day and u can hardly notice any fading on a 6 year old car :)
