Coilover Options, What To Go For?

I'm looking into getting a set of coilovers for my CTS

So far I have seen the Tein kits that Fensport sell, are these any good?

What other companies do coilover kits, what sort of price do they come in at, and wich are the best?

Also when fitting coilovers has anyone had any problems with camber, would i need to do anything else, ie correct the camber? any other issues with fitting coilovers?

thanks

Mark

Hi,

From my research i found that BILSTEIN / B12 SUSPENSION KIT seems to be a good comprimise and the following web site do the cheapest i have found.

http://www.247ppd.com/product~prodID~922584.htm

(these are just suspension kits not proper coilovers, arent they over 1k for coilovers?)

Tein are good. Don't have experience of them, but people rate them. A few on here have the tein Basics and are really happy with feel of the car after installed. SuperStreets are the top of the range. I think D2 do coilovers but the cost was a bit more for them. There supposed to be a good make too, but get the Teins and you can't go wrong!

Hi,

I've ordered for my cts the TEIN Super Street it's model QSY60-AVSS2.

You can adjust both the height and the damping force, while the basic ones it's only the height I think.

The price difference isn't too much.

In this year catalog I have, TEIN super street coils for cts are only without upper mount so you use the oem ones.

Only some models have the supper street with upper mount option and cts isn't one of them.

The upper mount is only for EDFC compability (electronic damping force controller) , but the damping force is really easy to adjust manually.
