Hey I think my bonnet release cable has snapped on my import st205.

Anyone any idea how to open the bonnet? Need to see my lovely engine occasionally :)

Cheers

Has just the pull leaver thing snapped or the cable itself... i dont know where it runs from but im sure someone will be along to help you out..

Can still feel the cable attached to the handle, just feels really slack. Luckily I'd just changed the oil, so I've got untill the screen wash runs out to sort it.

try taking the wire away form the handle and then pull it to see if it has just gone slack.. you maybe able to open it if this is the case with a good tug on it.

not too easy as you have to get up behind the bumper to get to the hood lock.

bit tricky but all you need to do is pull the leaver on the catch.

good luck
