Hello people, newbie here. I've just recently got a Celica GT4 ST185. I've always wanted a Celica since I was 16, I'm chuffed to bits, although we do seem to be having a few issues with her already. (help post coming up soon)

I'm a pureist when it comes to my cars (I own a few) I dont like much in the way of tat and bolt-ons, only performance mods for me! Unfortunately this one we've just got has a few bits of tat that need removal asap.

This needs to be removed ASAP (spoiler incase your wondering) as does the tinted light crap and the pants writing!

Firstly welcome to the club mate.

I have always been a fan of the ST185 and prefer the shape of it over the ST205 (which is the one i ended up owning for a while) purely because of the performance and tunibility..

I would personally (as you have already stated) if it was my car, get rid of the spoiler/tinted lights/decals and even possibly change the rims as im a 5 spoke kinda guy. :)

Putting that aside it does look in very good condition.. congrats mate on the purchase. So you always had jap cars?

For some reason the front bumper does not look standard to me either by the way..

Thanks, the wheels I quite like, i would'nt have chosen them myself, but seeing them on I think they look quite smart. No the bumper isnt standard, but I think it looks better anyway. The spoiler, lights, writing and those pants reflector things on the boot are to go asap.

I've had an MR2 and a Pajero before, but not for very long, as they've both been sales cars (we're in the trade for our sins), but not really had any myself. Used to work for Toyota yonks ago. TBH most of my cars are either griffin's or old skool blue ovals, infact my fav is my mk2 Astra GTE, which is currently being re-sprayed.

I've always wanted an MR2 Tubby (I do have a big list of cars I want :P being a complete petrol head) but now I've got the little one, thats out the window. Hopefully if the other half ever lets me get in her I will have the Celica as my MR2 subsititute!
