is there any way, and how much would it cost, to replace the old extendable metal ariel above the drivers door to one at the back so i can fit a bee sting ariel on my E10?

I remember a couple of years back collecting a part from a VW dealer, in front of me was a fella buying a replacement bee sting for his motor, I think they ripped him for nearhand £20 quid. My aerial was on the way out so I nipped round the corner to GSF car parts and picked up an amplified bee sting for £6!

Your nearest GSF are in Leeds or Doncaster, if that's too far then they'll mail it no problem (unless that takes the cost over what you can procure locally) Bear in mind they'll also sell you decent Wiper Blades (Bosch) and the like, for a fraction of what a dealer or high street factor will do you for. They might look at you funny, but an aerial is an aerial whatever the car brand.

would they be able to sort out taking the old ariel unit out and putting a unit like on vauxhalls on it?
