Fensport Lowering Springs

Just wondering how these -35mm lowering springs for the CTS rate. I have seen threads on the Eichbach and TTE lowering springs but they seem much more expensive. Are the Fensport springs any good?

I have no idea who makes the fensport springs, or how good they are, but just remember that fensport's prices exclude VAT, so they are actualyl £128 + postage, whereas I paid £146 for my Eibachs and they are well worth the money.

Good point. Not much price difference then between the two. Are you happy with your Eichbachs?

Very. It definitely firmed up the handling but I haven't really noticed that the ride has got any less comfortable, which can be a problem when you lower the car.

Lookign at your list of mods I notice the TRD short shifter. This was the next item I was going to purchase. Does it sort ot the rubbish gear change?

It has definitely improved matters considerably, but I still find it slightly notchy, but I don't know if this is down to it just being a new shifter that just needs to bed in, or if I need to change the oil (nrgizerbunny is hopefully doing a write-up on changing the gear box oil soon, so I'm interested to read that).

Overall though, the TRD unit provides a much shorter throw and hits home much more solidly. I still find reverse takes a lot of strength to engage though - but again maybe it will soften in time.

Just for information purposes, I got the trd shifter from Nengun.com in japan and cost me sub £120 delivered
