I would like to service my car myself this time, so I'm wondering what is the best oil for a 1.8 1999 engine?

Also, where is the best place to buy the oil filter, air filter, plugs etc, and can I buy them online?

I would just get the parts from my local Toyota dealer to be honest... always have even if servicing the car myself... or alternatively go to Halfords as they have charts showing which oil to use for practically every model of car!
