recently i ordered the greddy turbo kit for my 2007 Yaris (1.3)...then 1 of the technician told me that i could increase the boost in the future by upgrading the internal such as the piston, injector, metal gasket, electronic boost controller, and the ecu...

i need to ask u all first because i dont really trust the technician..

so, whats the highest and safest boost+hp should i aim? i.e. after upgrading the internal n

what should i expect in the near future? gearbox damage/ any maor damage to any part of the engine?

i was thinking of going 170-200bhp tho...

:help:

the safest roughly at the moment is about another 40BHP.

With uprated internals it's as much as they can handle, without damaging the rest of the engine.

I would have said it is possible for the figures your looking for.

I don't know who's fitting your turbo for you, but if you go to a tuning specialists they may help you more.

just as a guide HKS say you can get 180BHP from the 1 ltr with uprated internals.

so i'd say 200-220BHP max from the 1.3.

you'd probably get more if you added a bigger turbo but you would have very bad turbo lag lower down

I dont know why you spend that amount of money to buy a turbo kit, when with the same money you can buy a Celica or an MR2 or something like that...

I think it this way, I dont know you people how you think :)

hey guys .. i live in egypt , and i own a 1.3 yaris 2NZ-FE ... the problem is getting a celica or mr2 would be much more expensive than getting a bolt on turbo kit bcause we got large custom rates on import cars larger than 1.8 L

so getting a turbo for 3000 Gs or something is much easier
