Remote Locking Not Working

Ok, my T reg avensis started developing locking problems after changing the interior light bulb which had blown. Since then, the remote locking/unlocking key fob stopped working (changed battery/tried different fob still not working) and now when I lock the car at the drivers door using the key, all doors lock except the rear passenger door. I've also noticed (though not sure if relevant) that the 'alarm' sound which sounds when you leave your lights on and open the door doesn't now work.

Anyone any ideas before I pay out hand over fist to my local Toyota garage! ;-)

Check all of your fuses. you may have blown one when re fitting the interior light bulb. Probably something easy like that.
