The new Avensis. Ofiicial!!!!

This is the brand new Toyota Avensis(FORGET WHAT i SAID ABOUT IT, IT'S VERY NICE!!!!!). It will hit the dealers at spring time. It's desgined in europe just like the corolla and the yaris. It will set new standards in it's class. It will be produced in England. It will have 3 petrol engines 1,6(109bhp) 1,8(128) 2,0(146bhp) and a diesel with a new turbo 2,0(115bhp). The sedan and the stationwagon can carry 520 liters of bagage. There is also a 5-door version. The sedan and the 5-door are 4,63m long(11cm more then the current model), it's 1,76m wide(5 cm more then the current model) and it's 1,48m tall(5cm more then the current model). Stationwagon is 4,70m long(10cm more then the current model). The the enginers have worked on the suspension to make it perfect. Toyota have made a new sound absorbing material and it's lighter then any other soundabsorbing material and it's designed especially to absorbe the high freqenses(havent heard about any T-sport model yet). Toyota have thought about the safety and for the first time they have made and airbarg to protect the feet and knee against parts after an crash. Toyota expects high score at the EuroNCAP test. Like the interior very much! Think the outside is very much UGLY!!!!!!!!! Is there any news on the T- SPORT version? Lets hope it will make up for it. Take it the bonnet shape and height is to comply with the new pedestrian impact laws then , As ugly as the vectra!

Don't think even a T model will save those looks, prefer the old one after ramming it into a wall at 70mph :(

I think it looks great although it does have the same influences as most category D cars now. Unavoidable in some ways but the one distinctive feature it will always have is the most important one - it is a Toyota. :)

Wagon looks very nice...the rest, I'm afraid will blend into the Passat lot....Mazda 6 looks better...

I really don't like the new corporate Toyota grill with the Badge at the top – you could say it's distinctive I suppose
