plugged an aftermarket lighter on last night, not had any trouble with it before and now my headunit doesn't have power, my lighter doesn't and the digital clock on the same middle console doesn't work :( Yes thte light surrounding th lighter does, as do my hazards and rear windscreen demister and air vents.

have I blown a fuse? if so i could have a gander at replacing it,

or is there worse damage? :(

its sounds like a blown fuse, afaik the fuse box is under the bonnet, look up your manaul or the box cover to tell you what fuse it is, generally theres spares in the fuse box so you could use them. i reckon its a 10a, or 15a fuse thats used

it wwas a 20a one by the drivers door, got that sorted, and used my "small tool" on the underside of the main fusebox lid, haha

but now my dust cap is fused on and can't get it off, tried pliers but its just turning the whole valve :censor:

Less than £5 for a new valve.. then no doubt you will need the wheel re-balanced (or so they will tell you) so add another £5.

If they only break the bead on the one side to replace the valve.. the wheel won't need re-balanced.

they took the wheel off, put it on a machine that sorta forced the tyre off, hammered out the old valve and put a new one in and sent me on my merry way

but one of my wheel nuts is almost threadless and will need replacing soon :|
