Steering Wheel Audio Controls Rattle

The audio controls on my sterring wheel have started to rattle. It begins at about 40mph and then gets more noticeable the faster I go (inspite of the engine noise). I've had a look around the unit and could only find star headed screw which I have tried to tighten but it's as tight as it's going to get.

Does anyone know how to tighten the housing up to stop this noise? It looks like it might actually unclip from the steering wheel, but I almost cracked my instrument panel in half by trying to open it without thinking first so I'd appreciate some advice

Has no one else had this problem? At 70mph it rattles for a few seconds then stops for a few then starts again. I can only imagine that the rattle would probably be nearly constant and louder when travelling at over 100.

I'm getting to the pint where I am either going to rip it off and risk snapping it in half, or gluing it in place (really don't want to do this for obvious reasons) - but it is incredibly annoying now so I need to find a solution one way or the other.
