Passenger Wing Mirror

Hi,

I'm after some help. Some nice person decided to kick off my passenger side wing mirror on my 2003 Corolla T3. Currently it's held together by sellotape, as the arm is broken. The annoying thing is that everything else is fine, including the motor. I did have a go at glueing but to not success. I am now resigned to the fact that I need to get a whole new passenger mirror, but not at the prices my local dealer wanted.

I can see how to get the mirror off, except the connector on the electric wire in the door. Do you know if I need to cut the wire to get it through? any help appreciated, as it seems to be a difficult job for something that should be easy!

Cheers,

Geraint

dont cut the wire, there is a plug behind the door card, disconnect that and it will come through the hole,
