What Oil To Get?

bought a 2yr old Verso 2.0D not so long ago and was just wondering does anyone know what oil they use for servicing?

Manual says 5W40. Just wanted to buy some for topping up between services.

Upto you, but I reckon 10W-40 semi will be ample for the UK climate meeting at least ACEA B3 (and and optionally ACEA A3 too). 5W-30 is probably harder to come by in the UK and is potentially going to be more costly.
