Front Brakes - Clanging

The story basically goes like this.

In february this year i had new front disk and pads fitted, approx 3 weeks later a loud clanging noise started to occur when i pressed the brakes. The clanging noise which basically sounds like metal hitting metal only happens when i pressing the brakes to stop, say at a junction or when i'm parking.

I took it back to the garage, they put it on a brake tester and said it was the caliper sliders. So i went and bought them from Toyota, this still hasn't fixed the problem.

Has anyone else experienced this?

The car is a Celica 7th gen.
