Hi all,

Bought this lady about a month ago, am very happy with her, SSII, in Japan for 10 years, she has spent the last 2 years in Ireland and I am her 2nd owner here. Has the superstruts which seem to be fine, she is at 120K km, as can be seen she is lowered, on blue springs, dunno what make they are. Also has a stainless steel system from the cat back. I happy out with her,

Hi and welcome

She looks very nice and tidy, I am sure you will enjoy her for a while yet . No better car around for the money  Do you know if the superstrut has been done or not? I did one side at 64ooo miles, only did the figure 8 and that sorted the knocking , cost me just over £100. Mechanic said lower arm seemed fine (hopefully for a while yet!)

Only one problem with your car......what is up with that gear stick and knob???!!!!!!! :D Going for that retro look??!! I just treated myself to a new leather gaiter and toyota knob, looks great!

Keep meaning to pop over to Ireland for a laugh (sorry for the crack!) one day. Mmmmm..Irish girls :D

Thanks for the comments Steve, dunno if the superstrut has been replaced or not but there is no knocking, the gear stick and knob is a TRD quickshift, coincidentally I am heading to over to England in 2 weeks to sample some English ladies all going to plan. Are the superstruts parts still only available from Toyota main stealers ??

Nice Celica! I especially like the exhaust! Just the right size and look with a single tailpipe! Welcome to the club (from another recent entry! )

Shouldn't be too much of a problem as long as you enough cash to buy them a few drinks!! :D

No you can get them on the net here and a couple of other places a bit (edit: a LOT) cheaper than Toyota. Can't see why they wouldn't post to Ireland. You will need them eventually....but it is worth it (so I tell myself!! :D ) If you can't find a company to post them to you PM me and I'll order them for you and post them myself for whatever it costs. Provided you stay around here of course!
