I have a verso 2-2d4d t-spirit which I have owned for about 6 months my overall impressions of the car is it is easy to live with and does nothing badly if I was to criticise the car the ride is a bit bumpy at low speed on poor roads and the headlights are not great but that is just about it .

It is roomy inside and fit and finish is okay I get around about 40-45 mpg I had front and rear reverse sensors fitted which I find useful.

You may want to go to the what car website and look at reader reviews on there

The car is not the T180 but I find it has enough torque for my needs

Regarding the new verso if you do a search on Google there is a little info with pictures but the changes seem slight to my eyes and there are some changes inside to trims .

At the moment they are not giving much information in the trim line up for UK models but if you pop in your Toyota dealer they may have more info .

I purchased my car through a car broker and they took my trade in

Hope it helps

As far as I can tell its only a facelift, no extra modifications. I am curious if the interior gets any improvements (see bellow).

As for the review:

I just got my brand new 1.8 VVTi last week. I love most of the things, engine could have been better but didn't want to pay the extra for diesel. Toyota got most of it right EXCEPT the ergonomics. (my english is "imperfect" so I might not get some technical terms correctly). Let me give you some examples:

- head lights stay on even if you take the key out and lock the car; all you get is a buzzer/reminder; more and more european countries require that you have head lights on even during daytime, so it would have been smarter to have these lights as soon as you start the engine

- everything else (EVERYTHING!) shuts down when you take the key out: radio, cigarette lighter, even electrical windows. Now, there is in option to leave the key in and have the radio working. BUT the windows will not move unless the engine is working ?!?! C'mon Toyota, you don't need special training in engineering to know how people operate cars: you pull over, want to leave the car and discover your window is still down. Now you have to start the engine again in order to close it! (Toyota takes pride in protecting environement... )

- another example of brilliant engineer thinking: on the drivers door you have controls for al 4 windows + a switch to enable/disable them. All cars that I have seen have this because you might not want to let the childrens play with the windows, or have them open at 70 mph. Toyota went even further: if you disable the electrical windows not even you, the driver, cannot open/close them! You have to disengage the lock and then you can use the electric windows switches.

- very few spaces to store things in the car: you get some in the door panels, 2 glove compartiments + an extra storage above the central console and that's it.

For all the rest (good and bad) you have lots of information on this forum.

Let me say that overall it's lovely to drive, looks realy, realy well built, I have no regrets (yet). Time will tell how reliable it really is. I only think Toyota could have made it a lot more classier with minimum efort and money.

Here's a realy nice review  :
