Any Recommendations!

Hi all,

I have recently purchased a silver 03 reg corolla 1.6 t3, LOVE IT. :D

CAn anyone recommend any nice alloys that would go nice with the car and also what are the best lowering limits for 17" and 18" alloys as i dont want them to rub?

well ive got some ideas for 17" and 18" alloys but i want to lower it but dont want too lower it too much that it rubs so just asking for advice really??

Style?

Chrome, shadow chrome, silver, black or white?

3 spoke :!Removed!: , 5 spoke, 6 spoke or multi spoke?

Deep dish split rims?

I've dropped mine by 30mm on some Eibach springs and it has definitely improved the car. I wouldn't reccommend going any lower than 35mm on the standard shocks, so look at the TTE or Eibach ones for a 30mm drop or G-Max as a cheaper option (look on ebay) which offers a 35mm drop.

As long as the new alloys have the correct offset (37/38 seems to be a popular choice when going to 17" on the corolla) you shouldn't get any rubbing. :)

Welcome to the club, it really does come down to personal taste, there's no way anybody can tell you what wheels to buy for your car, especially if you have absolutely no idea what you want yourself. There are so many different styles available, you'll just have to find a set that suit you. Have a look at other cars for some inspiration (might be an idea to look in the Registry) & see what you like.
