hello guys, newbie rollaneil here.

wonder if anyone can help. just recently my corolla starter has been struggling to work.

it seems to be just first thing in the morning. it just about manages to turn over but not quick enough to

start the engine. then after you try it about 4 or 5 times it suddenly seems to come alive, turns quickly

and starts the engine. strange thing is though its ok then for the rest of the day !!!!!!????

any ideas, cheers rollaneil.

I had similar problem with mine, turned out just to be a knackered Battery. I'd take it down to kwik fit or similar and get a Battery check (dont cost anything to do).

Swapped my Battery and all is fine

As above, could just be your Battery although the cogs could be wearing inside the starter. Get your Battery tested to see if its holding its charge and if not get a second hand starter motor (brand new they will be pricey).
