Lost Paperwork

due to recently moving i've gone & lost my V5, Insurance & MOT cert, i had them together to get Tax and now can't find them. i usually keep them in with the rest of my paperwork in a filing cabinet.

Obtaining replacement insurance & V5 shouldn't be a problem - but i cant remember if you need your old MOT cert when you go in again & mines due at the end of the month....

Sod's law is i find them again after replacing them but the MOT is concerning me a bit.

Any ideas???

when i went for my MOT i din't need to take in my old MOT certificate, i think.

will check my draw

Edit: I still have my old one so its not needed to get another MOT certificate

yep - you only need your old MOT if you want to gain the extra days if you do it early. So don't worry about that one.

Who are you with for insurance? I'm with direct Line and you can view the policy on line with them

If you buy your tax online you do not need to show any documents at all as the system checks your information electronically.
